Do you know how badass you have to be to do your engagement photos at The House on the Rock?! I was already excited to photograph Nate and Ariel (Nate is a longtime friend of mine!) before they let me know they’d like pictures at the most bizarre place I’ve ever been. I think having photographed another engagement session here helped break the shell shock of some of things to see inside.

If you’ve never been there, to sum it up it’s a gigantic eerie collection with strange machines, carpet on everything, includes the Infinity Room, the largest carousel in the world, and is full of naked mannequins among many other bizarre things. The House on the Rock only gets stranger the more time you spend inside!

Nate and Ariel, thanks for having me come out to take your engagement photos! Can’t wait for your wedding next year! Congrats you two!
